Kyle Flanagan

My name is Kyle Flanagan, I worked as a non union commercial carpenter for 5 years before joining Local 254 as a first year apprentice.I graduated from the four year apprenticeship program. I am a first generation Union Carpenter.  

I am a Certified Shop Steward, attended Delegate training at the ITC, 3rd year program ITC attendant, 300 hitter, and a 212 leader.

Throughout my time I have worked on various small and large scale projects working with some of the best, professional, and educated individuals. Projects such as the new Newark Terminal A, Perth Amboy high school, Roselle Park library, Johnson & Johnson, The Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center.  

I am apart of the VOC, Political Action Committee, Member Engagement Committee, Mentoring Committee. I take pride in organizing other members to be involved. I believe in strength in numbers, organizing, involvement and that in the UBC we have each others backs.
