I am a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Having joined a short time after graduating High School in 1981, I decided to join the Carpenters Union in 1982 and  have been a member in good standing for 37 years. I went through the four-year apprenticeship program and reached Journeyman status. I worked in the field for twenty years before getting hired by the Capital Regional Council in August, 2001 and have continued working for the different Councils for the past 17 years. Throughout the course of my term, I have held many positions within the Brotherhood, including Journeyman, Shop Steward, Foreman, Organizer, Business Agent for Mill-Cabinet Local 821, Warden for Local 2018, Council Representative and Assistant Team Lead for the Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council.  As well as the Treasurer, Conductor, Delegate and Apprentice Coordinator for Local 254. In addition, I have served as Financial/Recording Secretary for Warren County Building trades and Trustee for Morris/Sussex County Building Trades and also sit on Ocean County Workforce Development Board. I am very proud and grateful to have held these positions and take them seriously and with pride.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, boating, racing speed skiffs and spending time with my 2 boxers, Walker and Remy (dogs) as well as hanging around the pool with family and friends.

I am single and reside in Manahawkin, New Jersey. I am the proud father of three young men Michael, Mark Jr and Matthew and just recently became a Pop-Pop to my first grandchild, Emma.
